Offshore Adventures are located just out of Plettenburg Bay on the Garden Route. Once you arrive you are provided will all the necessary gear to spend time in the water. Change rooms with child facilities are available.
For the “Swimming with Seals” activity you will be taken on a 15 minute boat ride to the Robberg Marine Reserve. This location is home to more than 5000 South African fur seals. You can jump into the water with them and observe the seals in their completely natural behavior.
No feeding or touching of the seals is permitted. You will spend +-30 minutes in the water with the seals.
Trips to the seal colony take place 7 days a week at 10am, 12pm and 2 pm.
In-season, 2 additional trips are added: at 8am and 4pm.
They also offer adventure boating thrill rides, a boat based (non-swimming) seal viewing trip, and a combo option combining swimming and the adventure rides – options for everyone!
These experience are really exciting and safe. Swimming with the seals is definitely on my bucket list for the next time I’m on the Garden Route.

Oh my God, they’re so cute! I would have the hardest time not touching them but then again, they probably bite, eh?
